This logo is effective because it stands out from other video game logos and uses a bit of an illusion trick here with the lines and perspective in making a cube shape. 

It's effective in that it displays a contrast with the red and the white, which symbolizes a few themes this anime has, one of them being good vs. evil. 

This logo is effective in that the font is very futuristic and fits with the overall theme of this series. The black and yellow contrast is also reminiscent of how we view space and stars.
