Project 2_Gregory Tyson
I had used the rectangular shape tool with yellow and black colors, along with the star shaped tool to create my image as well. I also decided to use shapes to give more depth and weight to the logo, resembling a shadow being cast by the words themselves. This one focuses on the creative works of art such as character design, storytelling and musical talents.
For this one, I used the rectangular shape tool to draw three bars of red, yellow and green colors for a primary and secondary color effect, then drew three more in black for a supporting base on each one. I also used the Text Box tool to create words with the style being "Krungthep". Finally, I created three stars of different sizes on top the bars in different colors similar in fashion of the bars. This one focuses on the learning process meant to take people to the next level, whether it be for game design or academic process.
For this one, I chose the rectangular shapes and then anchored them to resemble triangles. This one is made up of multiple triangles, with the two white ones being strokes from black. I also added the text, with the two Ds being a size 40 Phosphate, while the rest of the text are Minion Variable Concept at a size 20. I also decided on the monochromatic colors. Whilst it has no relation, I based it off my drawing of a fictional organization in my Pokemon fan fiction called the "Dirty Delinquents". They serve as a way to abolish money from the world created by the powers that be and also house those who have been ruined by the system.
This one is more simple, yet effective. I decided to chose two circles using the rectangular tool, with one yellow and one white. I also used eight black squares, with four of each being a different size and then used two shaped orange rectangles to form two points, which resembles a clock's hands pointing to 3:00. I then added another yellow circle to make it resemble a stopwatch and then added a deep yellow hexagon for its background. As for the "E", they are made of four black rectangles close together, and for the text, I used the Trajan Pro sized 34 for the text. Despite the name, their goal is to create manageable time for various businesses related to game design, academic process and works focused on storytelling, creative art and musical talents.
For these, I decided to use Adobe Illustrator to create it. Three of them are logos with the same thing in mind, only with differences being improved on from each one. I also decided to do a letterhead styled version. For the logos, I designed them using the Rectangular tool's yellow, white and black circles to create the stopwatch clock and the black and orange rectangles for the ticks and hands, which point to 3:00. The letter "E" also comprises of black rectangles, and the text was Trajan Pro to add to the style. The usage of rectangular (mostly) and circular shapes create the style of repetition.
The second logo is an improvised version of the first, adding a black star behind the clock and a black rectangle behind the "E", which is comprised of white rectangles. There are also three colored stars, which was drawn from one of my earlier logo designs called "123 Productions" (see above). Again, it creates repetition as now the stars follow the pattern. As for the third logo, I took it even further as I added an orange hexagon behind the stopwatch and "E". which is also in front of a yellow hexagon. I also added yellow rectangles by it and overlapped the texts with them, which are also in Trajan Pro and even added the same stars in it. However, to add weight and depth, I created shadows behind the shapes. I believe that the shapes follow symmetry, as they are in unison with one another.
For the letterhead-ish design, I made something with a little rhythm, as the shapes follow together. I even added the logo from the first card, which works to know what is being used. The fictional company is called "Overclocked Enterprise", in which it focuses on managing and extending time for various things such as academic success, game design, storytelling, creative arts and character design, and musical talent in order to take them to the next level in their success.
For these three, I decided to form a front and back envelope, along with a business card. The envelopes were 4 x 6, with one of them having a stamp like box behind the green star. The back envelope has a white box stretched to resemble an opening flap in it, along with the stars and the logo over the flap. As for the business card, I simply used a black rectangle for division as I placed the logo and the stars on the left side, whilst the text box with the company's info on the right along with the signature stripes from the letterhead.
This one is the last one, which is the same as the other letterhead only with some text.
